2024 жылдың қаңтар айында Еуропалық парламент Орталық Азияға қатысты ЕО стратегиясын баяндаған резолюцияны қабылдап, осы аймақтағы басқа әлемдік державалардың ықпалын теңестіруге бағытталған геосаяси амбицияларын растады. Мақалада ЕО-ның Орталық Азияға деген көзқарасының қалыптасуында Ресей мен Қытайдың ықпалының маңыздылығы атап өтіледі. Автормен жүргізілген жан-жақты талдау барысында ЕО стратегиясының негізгі бағыттары саяси, экономикалық және әлеуметтік аспектілерді ескере отырып зерттеледі. Зерттеудің негізгі мақсаты – Орталық Азияның геосаяси кеңістігіндегі барлық негізгі мүдделі тараптардың стратегиялық уәждерін анықтау және интерпретациялау.

Ойын теориясына негізделген талдамалық база арқылы бұл зерттеу Орталық Азия елдері, ЕО, Ресей, Қытай және АҚШ үшін ұтыс матрицаларын құрады. Ойын теориясын осы контексте жаңашыл қолдану қатысушы ойыншылардың стратегиялық есептеулеріне жаңа көзқарас ұсына отырып, олардың бәсекелестік және өзара мүдделерін айқындайды. Басқаша айтқанда, мақалада авторлар елдер арасындағы стратегиялық өзара әрекеттестікті талдау құралы ретінде ойын теориясын қолданады.
