Journal of Central Asian Studies

The Journal of Central Asian Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication released quarterly (in March, June, September, and December). The journal aims to support emerging researchers by providing a comprehensive platform for the study of international relations of the Central Asian region, including geopolitical, economic, social, cultural and other aspects in relation to foreign partners.It is published by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind review process to ensure the integrity and quality of published research.
The journal was re-registered by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 23, 2024, with Registration Certificate No. KZ72VPY00088070. The initial registration of the journal was completed on January 24, 2003, with Registration Certificate No. 3529-zh.
