Орталық Азия – климаттың өзгеру салдарына аса осал аймақ, бұл оның тұрғындарының өміріне кері әсерін тигізуде. 2018 жылдан бастап Климаттың өзгеруі жөніндегі үкіметаралық топ аймақтағы қазіргі сын-қатерлерді еңсеру және болашақ климаттық тәуекелдерге бейімделу үшін өңірлік ынтымақтастықты дамыту мен климатқа төзімділікті арттыру қажеттілігіне алаңдаушылық білдіріп келеді.
Қазақстан, Қырғызстан, Тәжікстан, Түрікменстан және Өзбекстан үкіметтері климат мәселелеріне бағытталған ұлттық заңнамалар мен стратегияларды әзірлеуде. Олар саммиттер, министрлік кездесулері және үшінші тарап қаржыландыратын жобаларға қатысу арқылы аймақтық әрі халықаралық ынтымақтастыққа белсенді қатысады. Бұл мақалада осы күш-жігерге мазмұндық талдау жүргізіледі.
