Қазақстан гендерлік теңдікті институционализациялауда айтарлықтай жетістіктерге жетті. Дегенмен, гендерлік жалақы айырмашылығы, әйелдердің басшылық лауазымдардағы аз өкілдігі және гендерлік зорлық-зомбылық сияқты кедергілер әлі де бар. Бұл зерттеудің мақсаты – Еуропалық Одақ пен Қазақстандағы гендерлік теңдік саясаты бойынша таңдалған құжаттарды үлгілерді, ұқсастықтарды және айырмашылықтарды анықтау үшін салыстыру. Зерттеуде үш алдын ала анықталған санат бойынша тақырыптық талдау қолданылды: терминология мен анықтамалар, квоталар мен қолдау шаралары және еңбек жанжалдарын шешу механизмдері. Нәтижелер ЕО саясатында гендерлік аспектілердің кешенді анықтамалары, гендерлік теңдікті ілгерілетудің заңды түрде міндетті негізі және ведомствоаралық ынтымақтастықтың жоғары деңгейі бар екенін көрсетті. Дегенмен, қазақстандық құжаттарды талдау терминологиядағы айтарлықтай олқылықтарды, әйелдерге арналған гендерлік квоталардың болмауын және гендерлік теңдік саясатының отбасылық және демографиялық мәселелермен шатастырылуын екенін анықтады. Зерттеу нәтижелеріне сүйене отырып, Қазақстандағы гендерлік теңдік саясатын жетілдіру бойынша негізгі ұсыныстар әзірленді, соның ішінде гендерлік теңдікке қатысты анық және заңды түрде міндетті анықтамаларды енгізу, гендерлік теңдікке жауапты жеке мекеме құру және әйелдердің басшылық лауазымдардағы өкілдіктерін арттыру үшін квоталарды енгізу. Зерттеу нәтижелері Орталық Азиядағы салыстырмалы зерттеулердің дамуына үлес қосады және саясаткерлерге практикалық ұсыныстар береді.
