Разрыв между осведомлённостью и действиями: доверие, контакты молодёжи и пределы «мягкой силы» США в Таджикистане

В данной статье рассматривается, как различные механизмы мягкой силы США, в частности прямой межличностный контакт и медийное воздействие, формируют восприятие, доверие и намерения участия у молодежи Афганистана и Таджикистана по отношению к Соединённым Штатам и международным организациям. Используя данные первого пилотного опроса среди афганской и таджикской молодежи, проживающей в Таджикистане, исследование количественно анализирует взаимосвязи между восприятием, доверием и ближайшими и будущими действиями молодежи. Результаты показывают, что доверие более тесно связано с намерениями будущих действий, чем просто благоприятное отношение, и что восприятие и доверие не имеют значимой корреляции. Прямой межличностный контакт более последовательно связан с поведенческими намерениями высокого уровня вовлеченности, чем медийное воздействие, которое в большей степени связано с узнаваемостью и эмоциональными реакциями. Эти результаты указывают на наличие «разрыва между знакомством и действием», при котором положительное восприятие не обязательно приводит к активному участию. Цели данного исследования: (1) изучить, как прямой контакт и медийное воздействие связаны с восприятием и доверием молодежи, и (2) проверить взаимосвязи между восприятием, доверием и намерениями будущих действий. Исследование подчеркивает важность механизмов формирования доверия в условиях конкурирующей мягкой силы и предполагает, что межличностный контакт может играть ключевую роль в преобразовании благоприятного восприятия в поддерживающие и проактивные будущие действия.
